 Mrs. Krautmann has been the secretary at St. James for 24 years! She went to college at Central Missouri State University. She grew up in St. Thomas, Missouri. She has been married for 36 years and has two sons that are married and she has two grandsons. She has 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

We have a two preschool programs, 3 year old or 4 year old.  Our 3 year old program meets twice a week for a half day: Tuesdays & Thursday from 8am to 11am.  Our 4 year old program meets three times a week and students may go a half day or a full day: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8am to 3:30pm.

 Mrs. Kristel Snodgrass will be entering in her 4th year of teaching, 3rd at St. James.  She graduated from Missouri Western State University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education.  She is married to Josh and has three girls that all go to St. James, Ashlyn, Addisyn, and Allee.

 Mrs. Julie Fischer is in her ninth year at St. James. She is a graduate of Platte Junior College and attended North Central Missouri College for Continuing Education Early Childhood classes. She is married to Jamie and has three children. She is a grandma of four, three of whom attend St. James, Makenzie, Dustin, and Benjamin.

This will be my 18th year teaching Kindergarten.  I taught for six years at St. Patrick before coming to St. James. I have two amazing children.  My oldest daughter, Olivia, will be in the seventh grade here at St. James.  My son, Brooks, will be in fourth grade this year.

 Hi! My name is Mrs. Megan Trautman. This will be my second year teaching second grade at Saint James. I have previously taught second grade for two years after graduating Northwest Missouri State University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Education in Elementary Education and Special Education.  My husband, Andrew, and I have two beautiful daughters, Lillian and Parker.

 Mr. James McCord will be teaching his third year here at Saint James.  He is a graduate of Missouri Western State University with his B.S.E. in elementary education with an emphasis in social science.  He is also a father of two children..Mr. McCord has been a former board member for Roubidoux Resident Theatre, and actor with RRT, Missouri Western, and Theatre Atchison.  This past summer Mr. McCord worked with Creative Arts Production of Madagascar Jr, A Musical Adventure as their Educational Director.  Mr. McCord is excited to be back for the 2018-19 school year!

    Mrs. Rachel Cotter graduated from Central Missouri State University (now known as University of Central Missouri) with a degree in Elementary Education and a degree in Early Childhood Education.  She received her Masters in Education through Baker University.  This will be her 12th year of teaching.  She has previously taught first grade, second grade, and sixth grade.  She and her husband Bill have 4 children: Jonah, Matthew, Hannah, and Moira.  Moira is in kindergarten at St. James.

 Ms. Molly Dolman earned her doctorate at Washburn University School of Law, and bachelors degree at University of Missouri-Columbia. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. She teaches 6th-8th grade science and social studies. Ms. Dolman is eager to meet her students, and grateful to be a part of St. James's supportive faculty and community.

Chris Roberts serves our school teaching Middle School Math and Religion for seventh and eighth grades.  He is a convert to Catholicism and member of the parish since he was received into the church at Easter 2007.  Since then, his service to the parish includes membership in the Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, and leading the "That Man is You!" men's group prior to answering God's call to teach at St. James.  You will see him Friday nights, during the fall, coaching football at Bishop  LeBlond Memorial High School. 

His work in education began 15 years ago in the St Joseph School District. He has an AS Mid-Management and a BS Business Administration from Missouri Western State University and is a Certified Catechist through the Bishop Helmsing Institute. His military service was in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Curtis Floray has eight years of teaching experience and this will be his 2nd year teaching PE and Technology at St. James. In addition, Mr. Floray brings years of coaching experience.

 Emily Prendergast attended Northwest Missouri University for 1- 1/2 years before becoming a wife and mother of five. She has taught at St. James for the last 18 years. She has taught PE, Technology, been a para in both Pre-School and Kindergarten, but the position she enjoys most is being  librarian and teaching Art which she has been doing for the last several years. She enjoys reading and trying new art techniques she can share with students. She also loves her six granddaughters.

 Mr. Matthew Bobela is the valedictorian graduate of the Bishop LeBlond Class of 2018 and an alumnus of St. James School. At Bishop LeBlond, Mr. Bobela was in the NWMO All-District Choir for four years and the Missouri All-State Choir for two years. He is the first person in Bishop LeBlond history to earn a perfect record all four years at the MSHSAA District and State Music Festivals. He is an active member of the St. Joseph Community Chorus and Chamber Choir, serving on the SJCC Board of Directors. Mr. Bobela is pursuing degrees in Vocal Music Education and Mathematics from Missouri Western State University. Mr. Bobela is also the founder and director of the Polyphonic Schola of St. Joseph and the director of the Cathedral of St. Joseph Choir. Mr. Bobela is very excited to be teaching the very choir which he once was a part of.
